RANDOLPH, N.J. – Our league joins the hockey community in mourning the tragic loss of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau. We send our deepest condolences to the Gaudreau family, including their father, Guy, who was an NJYHL delegate.
Johnny and Matthew started their hockey days in southern New Jersey, going on to play Tier-I youth in the Atlantic Affiliate. They advanced to the USHL and both played NCAA at Boston College. After successful amateur days in which their spirits lifted up countless teams, they both went on to play professionally.
Our New Jersey hockey family lost two treasured members this week. Our thoughts are with all of the friends and family of Johnny and Matthew.
